The Book Of Questions
What is a Thought? What is a Word? What is a Memory? What Am I? What Is Human? What is Life? What is God? Where is God? Who is God? What is Time? What is Space? What is Reality? What is a Mind? What is a Brain? What is a Soul? What is Love? What is Need? What is Desire? What is the Largest thing? What is the Smallest Thing? What Size Am I? What is Fear? What is Happiness? What is Emotion? What is a Question? What is a Visible Object? Where is Art? - The Book Of Questions is a series of 9 paintings or 'pages' each containing three questions 'written' within a coded sequence of nails, within a center black square. Surrounding the squares are explorations of the images and colors that often arise in my mind during meditation and contemplation of the specific questions. - The pieces are also intended to encourage a similar exercise within the viewer, who may, (with eyes closed), let fingers 'read' the questions, and allow associated colors and images be born in their own mind's eye.
