it's so sad but true. In the West, we have these 'morals'...but in general they seem to only apply to those closest to us. These ARE our children too. How can we let them live this life?

Similar situation, this time in Tijuana,Mexico. The site that the excerpt I gave was from, bridgesacrossborders (http://www.bridgesacrossborders.org) is quite inspiring/hopeful...good people just trying to make a positive difference.
