a night in the studio

listening to the soundtrack to Run, Lola,Run...while powersanding plywood.
listening to Ani DiFranco's 'Up,Up,Up,Up,UP'...while
measuring and miter-sawing backing for 4 3ft.x3ft. pieces.
Listening to PJ Harvey's Stories from the City...while screwing on the backing 1x2s and priming them all with white latex paint.
For hammering on the actual piece? Yungchen Llamo- Tibetan singer.
Confession:I really like the look of my new 'bubble gum' nailpolish against the power tools. ;)

Laurie Anderson, YEA!:) Actually I'm crazy about her sound sculptures...went to see them in NY..fond memory of a schooldesk rigged so that when you sit down and put your elbows onto certain spots YOU become a radio!!! I kid you not. SO great. The sound is actually somehow vibrated up your bone.
B. is doing GREAT by the way. Thanx 4 asking.:)
