That must be hard for you. My family moved to Florida, and you'd think it was overseas based on how often I get to visit. Usually just for the X-mas Holidays.
But this piece is showing the invisible connections regardless of distance...and definitely activiated by pulses of communication both direct and/or on a level we are yet unaware of. You are part of a configuration with your family that spreads or clusters but is always one 'organism'connected. if that helps.:)

Thanks, sweetie. Strangely enough, yesterday after writing that note back to you my mom calls and tells me that my aunt in Puerto Rico is possibly in her very last days. She's been working with just one good lung and now that one is going.*sigh* they just dismissed her from intensive care with a 'nothing more they can do' and that she would be more comfortable in her house (implying not much longer). It was as if the Empathy Box was a mental exercise and now it was just made real...I felt myself reconnecting in my mind with someone I haven't seen in a long time, and with her loved ones, and how they must feel in this difficult time...
And now I am trying to decide what the most potent, loving 'pulse' I can send will be. I am considering writing a little packet of memories for her from when I was there as a little girl..,a picture of us now, and some pictures of the Empathy Box with an explanation. *sigh* so strange...
