PeaceTiles Workshop- Vermont
Aug. 11th, 2007 07:57 pmPeacetiles Project workshop and gathering up in Cabot, Vermont at the studio barn of my friend Lars Hasselblad Torres. Lots of folks from Omidyar.net and others.4 days of bonding, painting and brainstorming. heavenly.
I was part of the NY caravan going up, 7 of us and our bags in one van...Brent and I, Krupa Jhaveri (children's book designer and art therapy student who will be working with women and children affected by HIV), Roseline Koener (of the Roseline Koener Atelier creative Retreat center here in westhampton), Selima Raoui (artist and art journaling workshop leader), Joanna (Roseline's daughter who is committed to opening a Peace School for children in Senegal) and Maissa (Joanna's friend and daughter of mutual friends who is also looking into international studies).
