Nov. 2nd, 2005 10:59 pmWow, I just bought a print of this painting for $25. I am love with it. (of course)ok we know that. Add to that that all proceeds go to benefit humanitarian aid projects in Tibet, Nepal and India.:) I do love also her summary of the Avalokiteshvara legend- do scroll down and read. What a beautiful meditation mandala!It works on the computer screen too..:)

Jul. 29th, 2003 06:28 pmA friend of mine surprised me by sending a card with a donation to the Peace Corps Partnership Program in my behalf!!! I am touched beyond belief. Just left for me in a little bag in my car! She wanted me to choose the project for some reason. SO Rushing to the site I found THIS project that I'm going to direct it towards. I can't wait to make another art sale so I can support some more. *sigh*. so impatient.Now that I looked through all the volunteer projects again I'm reminded HOW much there is to do.
Avalokitesvara wanted to help mankind, but in tears prayed that he could do more. The next day, he awoke, with 1000 hands to serve mankind. Each hand had 1000 eyes, so that he could identify the needs, and suffering of mankind.
