The wormhole activity is strange. It must have somehow reached backwards through time to my dream 6 years ago (read my last entry if confused), everything between then and now reassembled and I walked out of it here, ready to collaborate on the next step.:

and suddenly Tortoise appeared (Tom), of course, how perfect that he's writing a book for all this, lots on incursion and recursion... he may be able to explain what happened!...and then the others arrived. Kitto (Pierre Omidyar himself), Jamie (his wife),... and Robbb? insanity insued. I certainly felt like Alice at the Mad Hatter's Teaparty there for a bit.;) But crazy as this all seems, it makes perfect sense. You don't all still think you're really really awake now do you?;)(watch Waking Life again if you're not sure).
I've felt this coming for quite a while...I just wasn't sure how. avaD is being guided on the Mission and the adventure is proving to be unbelievably interesting. Come along for/be a part of the ride? You're all characters already you know...

Date: 2005-02-10 07:45 am (UTC)So you really work multiple pieces at a time. Almost a chain production! :)
Where is the studio, in your basement?
Goodnight xx
P.S. Under your influence, I'm considering giving or investing a percentage of my income into green projects. More to come...

I've been actually drafting up the10percentclub (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=10percentclub) in secret (hadn't told anyone yet and haven't organized). But Please consider joining. It's a big vow at first, but then I can't explain how amazing and easy it becomes.
You could bring awareness to all the green projects you support and hopefully it'll be a place to inspire others! :)!
Re: studio
Date: 2005-02-11 09:14 pm (UTC)Usually I do work on one or two at a time and quite slowly.
And often in different parts of the house...Those are shots of the basement...but often I work on the individual pieces upstairs. So like right now, I've got one piece on the kitchen table that I've been slowly painting the bottom layer of...and I have one piece on the living room floor that is for the hammered nail ritual. That's it. I do carving and power tool stuff in the basement...or the messier priming.
And when it comes to resin pour time, I work on tables in the garage with the door all open and a chair in the sun to breathe/wait in between.:)
