Wow. What a snowstorm.
The thinner trees were bending over to breaking point with the weight of the snow.
I borrowed B's big parka to go out and shake them free.
But B nearly peed himself before I made it out the door.
Because suddenly there was something in the kitchen that looked like THIS:

and throwing his supervision goggles on, he still couldn't make out what it was:

only by calming down could he start to recognize a certain someone:

but still wasn't convinced til I reassured him, cmonnnn...it's only meeee, it's me, it's meee, cmon relax!.:

Now on to the serious business, outta my way!:

That was last night. And although we had cleared off my car and carved a little path in the driveway last night....this was still the view out my front door today:

I much prefer snowscapes from the warm indoor window view, thank you. Gimme some hot coffee and let me stay in my cozy pjs and you can snow all you want.
Here's the view from my favorite couch window looking out back:

When we moved to CA, we had a snow shovel. We kept it in our closet for probably 4 years before finally getting rid of it at a garage sale at my parent's house. And it was funny just how many people looked at it and couldn't figure out what it was.

For reference, I think the last time it snowed here and actually reached the ground was 1989. Of course, it's only a 3 hour drive to the Sierra mountains and Reno or Tahoe.
