Ghosts in my Shell

On my way to the gym I decided to stop and park the car at the magic bay to watch the sunset from my favorite spot. Light contrasts deepening...waves rippling...reeds waving in the breeze...*sigh* sooo beautiful. I wondered why I hadn't been there in so long. Needed it. Such a place of renewal. Scribbled in my bookjournal as the light changed to twilight...loving the glow on the paper.

We watched 'Ghost in the Shell' finally. Breathtaking animation and concepts, loved it. Both of us looked at eachother with a bit of 'WTF' with the introduction of the 'Puppetmaster' character. Paused the movie to process the weirdness a bit.(see recent dream?!?!) *sigh* Trying to read more into it...coincedence? I don't know.

The soundtrack is amazing...lovelovelove!
as the credits rolled I gave in to dancing, feeling less bound by gravity again and surprised/impressed by what my body can and wants to do when I don't stop it. Despite my inattention, the dancer is much stronger than when I felt her last. Strange 'feats', hard to explain, silly to try. B watches.
In a way, I watch as well. Whatever it is is much better at moving my body than I am.
Then all returns to 'normal'.

I feel the same way, about the dancer. When it comes out it's so much more than just me. Here I am just an ordinary guy walking around, but when I dance it is smooth and carefree and wonderful.

I'm off to florida again tomorrow morn, this time to visit family. back on the 28th.

not really a film to fully "understand". there's always more to absorb and resonate with. i've lost count of viewings. so glad you enjoyed! went to see the sequel on BIG SCREEN again the other day. the soundtrack is just as quiet, but somehow even more dramatic...
