Puja Painted

The background: RED. How long I deliberated on the exact shade. Nervous as it dried.
Then spent the last few days engrossed in painting the nails on Puja individually.
Garage. Doors open, fan going. Surrounded by at least 70 little bottles of nailpolish...a myriad of colors and finishes...metallic, opalescent, supergloss, flat...every color under the sun.
My god has many many toes.;)
Perhaps the one thousand hands of Avalokitesvara.
Either way I love it.
The hardest part is stopping really.
But at some point I had to grab the U-Haul truck and rush to get the piece to the gallery...not yet wanting to part with it...not yet ready.
I wish I had one more day...to sit with it and stare..alone.
There is a subtle image there...that wants to reveal itself to someone...just like in the first I did like this, Prayers. *sigh* Maybe I'll get to see it later. Maybe it's not even meant for me.
Who knows.
My job is done.
Puja is now in the world, exists.
And all the energy that was in the process is both waiting there and dispersed.
I let go and move on.
