Back home I find myself in the state of mind I've been missing for quite awhile- the colors are back, the mysterious intensity, the beauty of every inch of the world I behold...everything sparkles. Not sure how I fall in or out of it, but whenever it comes back I am dumbfounded...can hardly breathe from how amazing everything looks, how clear and rich, when I know for days, weeks even I've been skating on the surface of days in half-sleep. I make myself a bowl of soup and find myself gazing into it, amazed. I look up and am equally enthralled by the colors, shapes of my everyday world. Suddenly I see the camera beside me...and I wonder if this vision is like the ghost, unable to be captured on film...if it's only inside me or if it can be shared. So, with doubt I take the pictures. Are you with me?Can you fall into the soup with me? (2 pics)

I occasionally get that feeling.. that the whole world is so massively real and amazing. It fades entirely too quickly, but while it stays, the world is worth loving!

I hear you. It's like I'm on this slow pendulum between sleepwalking and waking...but the sleepwalking part seems MUCH longer. Good to hear from you. :)

Glimpsing the extraordinary in the everyday - something we can all do occasionally; but we need you artists to help us along.

Yep, I'm very excited about being able to post photos on my journal. Ok, LiveJournal does not 'host' pics so you have to have a remote server and transfer the pics from there. There are many sites that can hold pics, the site I use as my online portfolio is one. You can get a 'junior' picturetrail account for $9.99 I think! SO, ok, first I save the pics from my digital camera into my computer and then upload them to my picturetrail 'album'.(I set up a second 'private' album specifically to hold miscellaneous pics that I wanted to post on LiveJournal). Then there's a button on picturetrail for 'more options' where you can get a Url code for each picture to 'post to auction' sites. I cut and paste the code of the desired pic and insert it in the html code given on LJ (for uploading pics)when I'm updating my journal. And that's that. *whew* did that help? I can be more specific on any part you want. luv,D
