Poem from long ago and now

STILL YOU WALK
Still you walk the ancient pathways
Wander through
beloved temples
Greet your loved ones, gods, companions
Still you walk.
Beneath your feet we reconfigure.
Assemble patterns
Around, within you
During the very blinks of your eyes
When you have traced the lines
about one million times
When you can see the drawing from above and
Within
And when in one moment
(which is in all moments-
inherent possibility)
You comprehend...
The story cannot continue in words.
Still you walk the ancient pathways
Wander through
beloved temples
Greet your loved ones, gods, companions
Still you walk.
Beneath your feet we reconfigure.
Assemble patterns
Around, within you
During the very blinks of your eyes
When you have traced the lines
about one million times
When you can see the drawing from above and
Within
And when in one moment
(which is in all moments-
inherent possibility)
You comprehend...
The story cannot continue in words.

such pretty, pretty eyes...
mm, eyes...
nummy...
"huummmmmm..."
Date: 2003-11-28 10:44 am (UTC)through your cortical gardens
over arching spiral paths
to the gateway of the last period
and into the hinterlands beyond
hey, do you hear that sound too?

The heuristic nature of the biological process and development of the nervous system, especially the grey web and the seeming miracle or illusion of comprehension. First comprehension or any understanding?
Thanks
