NYC art fairs 2007

Mr.B and I went in to see the art fairs in NYC...there were 5 all together(!) but we decided we would only take in 2 at a slower more reasonable pace. I had some of my works at Red Dot with Morgan Lehman so we went there first. ( read more/links to art I loved/you must see )

quiet chunk

so glad to have a chunk of days to work in the studio and to THINK. Been lingering in the well...thoughts of memory and archiving....connections and the shape of things to come...tagging and pulling...and the mental states that photographs evoke...
Been going through old photos in a box...so powerful these triggers..spaces reconstructed instantly..forgotten people..times...scenarios replayed..been reading up a bit more on memory and learning...jotting notes in Self-Assembling Memory Palace on cloudpad.
in my artwork the pieces pull between watery organic and hard fixed artifice...I'm trying to find my way into the small grouping before me. listening.
