quiet chunk

avadso glad to have a chunk of days to work in the studio and to THINK. Been lingering in the well...thoughts of memory and archiving....connections and the shape of things to come...tagging and pulling...and the mental states that photographs evoke...
Been going through old photos in a box...so powerful these triggers..spaces reconstructed instantly..forgotten people..times...scenarios replayed..been reading up a bit more on memory and learning...jotting notes in Self-Assembling Memory Palace on cloudpad.
in my artwork the pieces pull between watery organic and hard fixed artifice...I'm trying to find my way into the small grouping before me. listening.
