I haven't been this blown away since Liza Lou- who ROCKSMYWORLD completely with her beaded full-sized kitchen, backyard and trailer. If you've never seen, here's an article and a couple of pics:

Tonight

On a more now note, I've just gone and done it: I set up two small pieces (12" square) in the bathroom...and I poured resin. gulp. See, here's the problem: The resin needs warm temps to set right and I need lots of ventilation to breathe right, so I've usually avoided working with resin until Spring when I can pour it in the garage with the door wide open. Safety first. But it's still so cold and I need to finish these pieces! I feel like I've been stagnating so long. So, the only possibility we could think of was the bathroom...where I could bump up the heat, open the window a bit and have the fan on....and hope I can maintain the right temp and adequate ventilation. SO, I did it. First layer at least.gulp. I think I'll have to really consider moving to Florida or some other warm place for winter months in order to be able to do my art, especially larger pieces, because this is ridiculous. That or be a rich artist with a huge well-heated and ventilated studio.
*sigh*
Anyway I also finally dared the glitter green background layer I've been dreaming of for another piece and I am in LOVE with it, just tilting my head side to side to watch the sparkles dance.Yes, this is my magic lawn.....the cyberspace real-estate blank page....;)
