(no subject)

yay. Did another resin pour today, this time on the galaxy-like piece. It's supposed to SNOW tomorrow (what?! isn't it Spring already?) so I had to take advantage of the day even thought it was colder than is good for the setting/drying. So far I see that I missed 4 nailheads. It's pretty hard to get them all...slowly dripping resin on each little point of hundreds. Oh well, I will have to touch that up next time I pour. Used up every last bit of resin I had, now I've got to take a trip into the city to pick up more.

Where is Art? - The Book Of Questions is a series of 9 paintings or 'pages' each containing three questions 'written' within a coded sequence of nails, within a center black square. Surrounding the squares are explorations of the images and colors that often arise in my mind during meditation and contemplation of the specific questions. - The pieces are also intended to encourage a similar exercise within the viewer, who may, (with eyes closed), let fingers 'read' the questions, and allow associated colors and images be born in their own mind's eye.
