CraftyClubhouse- ATC day!

Had a really fun CraftyClubhouse on Sunday @ Tugboat's. Pat Kochie gave an intro to Artist Trading Cards (ATCs)and we all got to makin some.


First we started things off with some show and tell....I had brought some of my favorite recent DIY treats/purchases. The happy plush cheeseburger is made by Kungfu Cowgirl and my lil crocheted spacecritter mr.zuzu is from SweetiePiePress, the choc chip earrings from StitcherX and the paper beads are from jessprkle. All these fabulous folks are on Etsy, go check em out!



On the other tables we had books, mags, zines and more show and tell. (yes that's my Missycakeland stuff in center tray).


Pat started off the ATC part by showing us ones she made and was working on..

then we spread out all the member contributed/shared supplies and got to work n making our own on the cut cardstock that Pat brought for us.


oh yes and did I mention it was also chocolate-vodka tea party?;) I brought my portable tea set and poured our lil cocktails of insanely tiny tea cups. super yum and 'special';)

I realllly enjoyed this, the possibilities are endless and I Love the small format. we're going to have a round 2 in for the next craftyclubhouse...make enough so we can get to the actual trading!
back home mr.b gave me some card sleeve options....liking it! will buy a bunch to share. keeping everything in a nice cigarbox....looking forward to having a deck of mini artworks from many different friends/peers/artists to sift through and show.

Don't you think Everyone should have a beautiful lesbian cigar box to keep their ATCs in?;)


my first 2 ATCs. very graphic design oriented...guess I've got fabrics and Missycakeland on the brain. Looking forward to doing all sorts...drawn, painted etc!

oh it really was! so easy to host really...just have everyone bringin some supplies and put it all out on a table and yap around and create!

these elfintome.com people do interesting things with Open Source Oracles, but yours are all homeymade and cutsey! i'd rather have a deckka... ATCs!

I sure do wish I could have been there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like so much fun!

Hey, you guys should do an art-o-mat evening as well. Fun days ahead! Let me know when you are ready for a trade. We could pick a subject and decide how many in that batch and go from there.
