Discussion on Memory Palaces, Artifacts and Icons for the Future

at NMC campus, Outreach 110,177,24. As part of NMConnect in SecondLife.

Ava and Mnemosign..preparing our talk....our very first collaboration...:)!
with many other browsers and wikis open....trying to multitask and focus.
big learning curve.



Finally it's time and IN Kenzo gives us a ride to Outreach
on these magic flying chairs- great fun.
We set up in front of the backdrop boards I made..and start our dialogue...
cutting and pasting into the chatbox from our notes and wiki work..

And just after we finished..and were trying to figure out how to formally close the session, the Sim crashed!
I logged back in and everyone was gone..POOF.
Twas so much like waking up from a dream for just a moment.
and then they started rezzing back...as I perhaps fell back asleep?)

And we decide to TP over to the Center for Water Studies on BetterWorldIsland.
just earlier Mnemo was saying how he dreamt of a killer whale....
and trying to take pics of its mouth with his digital camera..
..so this was appropriately...Odd;)

we call this Lucid Dreaming, Mnemo...;)

so then I was riding on this killer whale....as you do....;)


What an incredible build...wish I could show you how the sea creatures formed out of these fractal clusters...
mesmerizingly beautiful...I dreamt of something similar too long ago...
called it the SwimFly Exhibit dream....
have to find it in my old bookjournals somewhere since sadly everything I wrote in my old 'OpenDiary' (pre-LiveJournal) was lost:(
and that was on there...


What a day/night. InSANE to be inworld so long... but it felt good too...lots of connecting..with friends in distant places. And now my sense of reality is even more skewed if you can believe.Back to the regular studio where I started dreaming this world up...or wait no...it was longer ago than that....

My brain was going to burst from trying to multitask and rush things together for this....and I couldn't even think manage a simple alert other than the posts on here or if someone asked me. I'm so sorry. Honestly I so thought of you right after with a forehead smack and then was too embarassed to say anything. eep. please forgive. this is just the beginning for me though of more intense involvement. and I will need your help for lots more methinks! how are you doin on scriptin my lil mad genius?;)

OH and you know that In Kenzo is msyouknowwho (http://exoterica.livejournal.com/profile) from HERE right? (and Omidyar.net (http://www.omidyar.net/user/u704983394/) etc). Member when I was sayins to contact her bout possible COnnectivity geekcorps-ish stuff in developing countries? smaller and smaller the worlds they beeee...:)
