No, it's totally different. This is generating real landscapes that you can walk around in, interact with people in, and make your own home. This is about living in a fractal world! (which we do) It's like taking fractals several steps farther into reality.

I'm sure it's different, it's just amusing to see IFS fractals come up twice in a short period of time in a semi-artistic context.

hey, wondering if you might be able to help out a friend with fractal mapping?
SHe is working on designing a real-life set and a virtual (SecondLife)counterpart to an idea called ManorMeta....maybe you could guide her a bit on tools you can use to generate the drawings, etc?

She's on here as jenfrisbee, on myspace too (the eye pic on my page),I think as 'evonne'.
