I think I must be an illustrator by nature. I can't explore one style and direction for this long. It's amazing and beautiful to me. I am envious of your focus and direction. My many arms do many things but in many different ways and repeat is a dirty word in my world. Really stunning!

but that's your charm and personality. we are all different in our creativity and expression and that's what makes for the delicious world of art. I'm the type that is mesmerized by the weave of a couch fabric and can enter into it as a world...with the most minute permutation being something like music. Repetition and ritual are closely linked for me (obviously or I wouldn't still be making the pieces with thousands of nails;) and there is a curiosity with structure and nature's patterns that makes it all new for me from the inside (if that makes sense). Something like staring at your hand as you learn how it came to be and what it is made of and how it works, cell by cell. You may see someone staring at their hand for hours, days, weeks....but oh it's truly a different hand moment by moment as I learn and contains much of the answers to Everything:)

sounds like you've never lost the wonder of a child that that's a beautiful thing. I don't know what age group I represent but all I want to do is learn learn learn do do do.
