my sweater in sunlight, and other things

In the studio and out on the deck, the details come alive again and I linger in them, mesmerized.
this is the world I love. my sweater dances in sunlight and becomes Other.



After a few moments I'm down on hand and knees with face close to floor to see the littlest wonders all around.
Little wonders that are everywhere now that my eyes are back 'on'.
I fall in love with sawdust and gravel in the cracks of my wooden deck.
