Roseline's Atelier

I'm usually the one taking the pics, but this time I had no camera. SO, Selima just sent me a few pics from the Easter gathering at our friend Roseline's studio/Atelier in Westhampton. Such a warm inviting inspiring place,always a global affair, artists and friends from all over the world... you'll be hearing more about it soon....I might be helping with some creative workshops.

There was yummy food from all parts of the globe, and easter egg hunt, drumming, quote readings (this is now a ritual each time we get together like this- selima writes quotes from Rumi and others onto bits of colored paper rolled up and tied with string and we pick out of a basket and read aloud:)
Next time i'll bring my camera and show you her amazing art collection and her color saturated studio.

Dew Magic (Everyday)

Morning. I wake a little earlier to try to have some quiet time before work. 2 Deer outside in the backyard (I hadn't seen them for a while!). I open the bedroom window to talk to them. Eat a banana and walk outside. Dew is sparkling off everything. Droplets on each bit of grass...my eyes are straining a bit just trying to take it all in. I enjoy looking for a while and then decide to get the camera. Afterwards I am adjusting the light a bit to try to show you what I Sense....of the wonder...:
