Soliton Waves
Jul. 23rd, 2004 01:11 pmFor years, this concept has haunted me, nagged at a part of my brain. I dream of tidal waves, tsunamis. And also of strange physics things...of utilizing the infinite energy of a vacuum to cross a barrier. Of strange pink bucky balls spinning in/across water, picking up a thin layer of water, creating a wave that does not dissipate, being the wave...
I feel that solitons are part of that grand puzzle that I am trying to figure out/remember. Certainly not just in their water form...but in patterns of energy running through...fueling life, evolution, growth, change.
Last week I dreamt of one again. My nephew pointed it out to me.Travelling sideways. Indicating something, a rift somewhere.
Yesterday at the beach my friend wants to discuss something he read about 'rogue waves'. Today another friend sends me a link to a small article on 'rogue waves' from yahoo.
ok ok already. fine. I hear you, universe.
I'll think about it again.
Anyone want to join me/help out? Here's a good place to start:
