Waking Life

Ok, joke's on me. Recently saw the movie "Waking Life"...and well, okay, I surrender. I am obviously still dreaming. And it's very interesting to watch a movie that is seemingly a projection of your mind while thinking you are awake. And to have that movie be about the blurred distinction between dreaming and wakefulness. Ha. What a hoot this mind is. Why not call it Waking Life, you know, sort of like my other journal "Waking Moments". Yeah, good idea. And for kicks, let's have the character Julie Delphy speak the exact words you spoke to your boyfriend a while ago about that strong feeling you have of being an old woman remembering her life, that each moment is part of her memory being stretched out... that'll really make you sit up in your seat, no? heh. Let's also have the characters talk about those 'ideas' you get from the dreamworld that really don't seem like your ideas and you're wondering what you're supposed to do with them. Oh, and let's have a scientist give an exciting speedy monologue about mankind's evolution so that you remember the conference you went to this summer that blew your mind because you couldn't tell if you were dreaming or not as each of the speakers spoke seemingly from and to your mind. Hoo. Ok, that'll 'entertain' you, D. For added ZING, we'll make the whole thing in a new format of painted overlay animation...you know, exactly like you wished for in that lengthy enthusiastic e-mail to an artist you met online who painted over photographs..and you felt absolutely energized visualizing how wonderful that would be in a moving video and you just couldn't stop gushing about it? Enjoy your movie/life,D. :) :0
