Moving House

Sorry I've been out of touch. Brent's feeling much better, thankfully, and now
we're currently in the midst of the hell known as moving.;)
Almost there. We got an 'extension' from the landlord til Sunday for the remainder of junk removal and cleaning.One computer set up now at the new house and here I am stealing a few late night moments of the ol' clickyclackety for the joy of it.
Started my part-time dayjob again in town at the boutique/knit shop. It's actually been a welcome reprieve from the packing/moving chaos at home. Feeling good about the new house. Can't wait to really settle in (aka unpack my books and work in the studio which needs to be converted from a dining room).
Somehow I managed to finish my newest two prayer pieces during the brunt of the move, each 2 foot square, and those will be shown in a 'Methods and Materials' group show opening on Saturday in East Hampton along with my large 5 ft. 'Puja' piece. Now I need to get to work on the 'Attractor' piece I started which is supposed to go to the Connecticut gallery for a 'Love' show ridiculously soon. eek. I really don't know if it's possible. Needs a lot of work and two resin pour/layers. I may just have to put an older piece in...but I'm not giving up yet.
So much more to tell but I'm sleepy and have lots to do tomorrow so i'd better turn in.

congrats on the move! i posted photos of SUGAR....i'm painting the ceiling and it's taking forever on this crazytall ladder. can't wait to get the loft built and get nested.

this weekend: floors in the warehouse artspace. kiln gets the first hookup next week!

Congratulations on the move and the new show... I'll keep my toes crossed for a smooth transition into the new home and many sales at the show... we'll at least two sales ;) :D

I had noticed the distinct lack of playful avaDisms over the last few weeks and was *just* about to send out a search party for you... but here you are, poking your little nose out of the treehouse after a long nap.
