First Snow

White light morning. Snow sparkles still swirling about.
Yep, it's time! Time to put on my new red/pink rubber wellies! YAY!!
SO good to feel stomp-brave in snow. I was never really prepared or protected these last years and I HATE me some wet socks- ick!! But now...yeeHA!! *kicks snow* HA! Playtime!!:)

Worked at the shop today...read some Annie Dillard poetry by the window during the quiet morning hours with coffee. Then the xmas shoppers started coming in.

Tonight I'm finishing up painting the ornaments I'm making for the family...and pack. Tomorrow morn fly out to Florida again, this time for family holiday...the big Puerto Rican noisy xmas.:) Yummmmmm I can't wait to eat some pasteles (hopefully, if grandma made em)....and some Coquito!!! (sortof like eggnog but with coconut). And to squeeeeeeesh my niece and nephew and tease them mercilessly. :)

I'll be Back in a week. Hoping to check in on LJ some point from down there...but no promises. If I don't get to, then HAPPY HOLIDAYS MY LOVELIES!!!! May the Christmas Spirit grab you in scintillating and unforeseen ways. ;)
