Psychology of Cyberspace

Fell upon these papers quite few years ago in research when first cautiously putting my toe into the pool of the internet.
Decided I should try an online diary and began one at opendiary.com. I am now obviously fully immersed and experiencing and contemplating the myriad psychological issues from an inextricable space.

Here is a list of links to all the articles and pages in the hypertext book (web site) The Psychology of Cyberspace. Unless otherwise stated, the author of the article is John Suler, Ph.D. There also is a subject index and search engine for this book.

The Psychology of Cyberspace by John Suler,PhD.

Articles include the following (and more):
*The Final Showdown Between In-Person and Cyberspace Relationships
*The Online Disinhibition Effect
*Psychotherapy in Cyberspace: A 5-Dimension Model of Online and Computer-Mediated Psychotherapy
*The Future of Online Psychotherapy and Clinical Work
*Personality Types in Cyberspace
*The Two Paths of Virtual Reality
*To Get What You Need: Healthy and Pathological Internet Use
*Cyberspace as Dream World: Illusion and Reality at the "Palace"
*TextTalk: Psychological Dynamics of Online Synchronous Conversations
in Text-Driven Chat Environments
*Transference Among People Online
*Transient and Long Term Online Relationships
*Bringing Online and Offline Living Together: The Integration Principle

you know, I kindof see you as this cartoon character that pops up from behind the stage-curtains every once in a while in my posts and blurts these bizarre short lines at the audience in a high voice.
lol.
pokes you back off the stage..

i think it might be genetic brain-damage
or some kind of phyllo-cellular drift

Hi Darlene,

since I wrote my paper on this, I just wanted to spread the good news.. it's nothing you wouldn't be hooked on otherwise. You love your diary. You carry it everywhere. Now you have it online, now it can serve so many more purposes too..

I don't know.. I wouldn't overrate all these articles. Like the newest study done on PC agression (did you ever hit your PC out of anger..? Dutch research.. big news..)

Re CAKE.. Darlene! We all KNOW that German cakes taste much better (so it's hard to salivate thinking of a salty cake.. at least for me..) ;o)

Hope your happy (and not too cold) is freezing here!!!
