Resin Pour

Picked up a few more days at the shop in order to make some needed money for bills and art supplies. I have to order a TON more art materials- and soon.
Today is gorgeous, thankfully, perfect weather for a pour, and so I've done a resin pour on five pieces in the garage.... Heat gunning away the bubbles.
Now just checking on them from time to time, making sure no gnats settle in to the sticky curing stuff.

Had a conversation with a young squirrel who was making a ruckus while I poured. I took a break and walked over to his/her tree and we chatted a bit. No, I'm not sure what we said.;) But I've never heard those noises from a squirrel. There was noone else around I could see, so I assume he MUST have been talking to me. I need a translator.
I thought he was perhaps trying to clear his throat. It was super hot, so I brought him a bit of water. He blinked in a sweet sort of way, watching me and didn't run away.
Do squirrels drink water? I've never seen it? I just left the bowl in case.Do you think the fumes got to me? Do you think I'm nuts? HA! Nuts! HA! Get it??? *ambles off*

Oh those look STUNNING! What's wrapped around them? Framing or soemthing to allow you to do multiple pours? I still want to do the paper people thing dag nabbit... still itching the back of my head. :) REALLY inspiring. Someday I will make something you HAVE to ahve and we'll do a swap. Because I HAVE to ahve one of your works!

It's just masking tape...to hold in the resin while it cures. I remove it after curing and work on the piece more, then wrap fresh masking again when I'm ready for the next resin pour layer.

swap? hmmmmmmm :)did you get my email?
