Earth Prayers

2 of my artworks (Novus Corpus and Waking Sumer)were included in a show called 'Earth Prayers' at a beautiful place called the Siena Spirituality Center. It's a historic convent and retreat (run by Dominican sisters). It was a gorgeous day and B and B's sister and I walked around the grounds for a while after talking a bit with other artists there. The delicious air and almost ridiculously beautiful setting and the wine we had made us all fuzzy and smiley so please pardon the piccheez.;)

Fabulous! It's nice to see your work hanging - so much easier to get a sense of their size with the rest of the room. For some reason. I thought they were smaller, mayber half as large (?)

Hope they paid in you enough walnuts to last you through the winter, and few extra to donate to other squirrels who don't have access to squirrely books. Those are adorable pics... but how did you hide your big bushy tail in that skirt?

(incidentally, it's just an exhibition,so no money involved unless someone decides to buy one. it'd be great if that happened, but it's nice just to have some new people see the pieces in person.)

Just happened to find your email in my "follow-up" box, and thought I'd take a peek at your page...

I'm glad I did---you and your fiance look SO cute together...I love your "chotis" a.k.a. braids (that's how we say it in Indian language).

Thanks for letting me know about this, maybe I'll set up my own journal some day---it looks fun, but I'm nervous about strange people accessing the website/my pics---is that superstitous/fearful-sounding? I guess I'm a little paranoid sometimes!

Hi sweetie!
You can always open up a journal and keep certain entries private or friends only(where you select who has access). There are various levels of openess- your choice!
It'd be great if you started one. I love keeping up on the lives of friends in all other states!
And there are great communities here dedicated to any obscure topic you can think of....etc.
Last i heard from Selima was pics form her latest show and a review in French (which I had to get choppily translated on the web- ha).She sounded well....had gone on a spiritual retreat.:)
