Recently:

*attended a wake (father of a good friend's husband). I did not really know him, having only met him at their wedding, but just wanted to support my friends. Is it odd to say that I miss dressing all in black? It was like returning to a forgotten part of me.
*got first paycheck from work at the boutique.:) Donated 10% to Sougueta Library Project in Guinea
*went to the magic bay with B. sooooooooo relaxing and beautiful. such a source of renewal for me. Saw large crab and tiny fish and mesmerizing sunsparkle messages on ripples of water.
*had artist friends over for dinner tonight. B cooked.yum. we all talked in the studio and around the kitchen table...til just about now.bottle of wine.:)

I think I will. It used to drive my family nuts. And then I started enjoying color. I really love color now..and being playful..but there is something...of me that I feel differently in all black.so yep, once in a while.:)

She took an overdose about a week ago and died. That's really all I know. Janet still hasn't absorbed it yet. Sean, one of her friends from school years and years ago, has taken on the task of going through her writing and setting up a memorial journal...

I am still trying to process this, rereading entries, trying to fill in blanks I can't possibly fill
... Janet has deleted her own journal...:( and of course Liz has always deleted half of anything and everything since the beginning...so whatever I think I'm looking for I can't find. but *sigh*...I don't know what to say...i thank you for telling me. I don't have words.

I came upon (well, I haven't really come, yet) your journal quiet at random, by looking at the friends page of a kinda-sorta friend who commented once on one of my entries, but has yet to friend me. ...

All preliminaries aside, I think you've got a really cool journal. I dig your artwork and I think you look really sexy, a bit like Kate Bush, in your user pic. (Your other pics ain't lookin' too bad, EDER.)

Also a big bookworm who has more than once lost himself in the Library of Babel.

Feel free to friend if you like. Would be cool to peek a bit under each other's roofs, from time to time.
