poem that speaks my soul
DRIVING THROUGH NEIGHBORHOODS
by Gretchen Fletcher
I live in your living room
for the short seconds it takes
to pass your window.
I sit in the glow from your lamp
and read a book from your shelves.
I water the fern that hangs in your window,
and feed the cat that sits on your sill.
Then, listening for someone
calling from the next room,
I finger your lace curtains
and adjust your blinds,
before moving on to live
in the next lighted living room
down the block.

Have I told you lately that I love you?
was playing on the radio earlier.
Thank You for this connection. A Wonderful site and a poem that speaks to the place beyond my thoughts.

How should I imagine the weather there - here its been like a summer's day Everything is budding and blooming and the dewy grass seems to grow even as I stare out at.
And hey THIS YOU won't believe. I sleep at night. Sometimes 10 till 5 sometimes 2 till 8 but never later than 2am. It just happened
To me that is a BIG deal...xx
Re: Have I told you lately that I love you?
I can pretty much fall asleep any time of day if I let myself. And then I'm exhausted from all the dreaming! Wakeful energy is what I struggle to have more of.
But oh may you sleep peacefully through your nights and wake refreshed!
