Garden party Hello Kitty is disguised as a squirrel- shhhh!!;)Sometimes she lets me share her sandwich, tea and donut.

A trip to LegoLand in Florida rekindled my old love for the endless possibilities.Oh how I regret not getting bushels full. NEW COLORS!!!! Hot pink, lime and aqua, omigod.love, love,LOVE! And oh how I love Lego trees.*sigh*

how can u not love legos man...their the most awesomely cool toy ever invented...the old skool ones...plain old square and rctangles with some roofy things and um... a few gates...no new like odd shaped peices, lol...didnt mean to rant...but oh the memories from legos

hee. rant away.;) Here's my part of the rant: it starts with the 'Kids toDAYYYY...' then I shake my head in a pitying way..;)..and go on:'They get all these super-expensive Lego 'Kits' which are only to be put together like a puzzle in ONE way, with no imagination. Yes, you build a big ship according to the instructions,with all these characters and details, or scenes from action movies, BLAH!..
What I remember loving about Legos was the amazingly endless possibilities...you get colors and shapes and sizes and you can build ANYTHING! I used to love to make 'cameras'. I'd make a box with some clear pieces and maybe a window here and there and run all about the house looking through it 'taking pictures'.:)

Look at the awesome colours! I feel the same way: the new sets with all kinds of specialized pieces are less conducive to creative play.
