Eggs and Eternity

spotted these little wonders outside on a wooden shingle. they are superteeny. I started searching google and so far think they must be stinkbug eggs see pic here. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know. In the last pic I was playing with the hue in photoshop, couldn't resist.

I also find it hard not to see a map/continent/north america.
