A little story from my morning for you....



This morning I woke...feeling a bit tired and depressed..looking out the window my eye kept being drawn to something flashing red within the viney trees.


I stared for a while and decided to get my camera to see if I could zoom in.


It kept flashing....brighter than anything in the backyard...twinkling like a fairy. so I got myself to put on pants and shoes and went outside to 'say hello';)

beautiful out. birds singing...sun warm. I headed to the tree. dew was sparkling everywhere...and i looked for the red/gold. it looked like part of the tree was on fire with sparkling light..


as i zoomed in I seemed to enter a different world..


and I loved being within it.


the little mysteries even stood still sometimes so I could take their portraits;)


Remember it's all around you.

today really felt like spring- finally i opened some windows and the door to the studio- god I love that.
and the birds- going crAzy! yes a party! when mr.B came home we went to go check out the peepers...he said while driving with the windows open over by some ponds the sound was deafening. we went around to a few...hearing them...amazing...but didn't spot any of them. good hiders those froggies are.

I think I might also get a birdfeeder- good idea. I've been very tempted to get a bat house too...I'm so enthralled with bats.. course I'm in love with this one (http://www.stevetaylorbuilder.com/articles/bathouse.htm).

i' not entirely sure you need bird feeders by now, it's mostly a winter thing and as the spring and sumer arrive the birds should be able to find their own food. one thing though you could get is nesting houses. that bat thing looks really cool :)
