Searching for Mystery

A little story from my morning for you....



This morning I woke...feeling a bit tired and depressed..looking out the window my eye kept being drawn to something flashing red within the viney trees.


I stared for a while and decided to get my camera to see if I could zoom in.


It kept flashing....brighter than anything in the backyard...twinkling like a fairy. so I got myself to put on pants and shoes and went outside to 'say hello';)

beautiful out. birds singing...sun warm. I headed to the tree. dew was sparkling everywhere...and i looked for the red/gold. it looked like part of the tree was on fire with sparkling light..


as i zoomed in I seemed to enter a different world..


and I loved being within it.


the little mysteries even stood still sometimes so I could take their portraits;)


Remember it's all around you.

if this was the 70's i'd say can i have some of what you just took please...
anyway, just kidding. today was an amazingly beautiful day here, not very common in these cold northern lands. i've put bird feeder on the trees, there's so many birds in my garden now, it's like a party. i love it! so, i think i can relate
