note from the universe

I do wonder, Darlene, how some people, who upon seeing gorgeous, billowing cumulus clouds floating effortlessly overhead, don't just want to explode with joy.

Or who, upon seeing a mighty old oak tree, don't run right up to it wildly screaming "I love you."

Or who, upon being caught in the rain, don't blush as each drop gently kisses their skin.

Or who, upon gazing at a star-filled night, aren't paralyzed with awe.

Or who, upon seeing their reflection in a pond, don't cry the happiest of tears.

I mean, I thought I really outdid myself.

The Universe

Yep, I wonder this too, we're on the same page, Uni.:)-D

Thank you. You're so right. Sometimes I don't look properly and need reminding that it's all there. :-)

Thanks for the reminder. It's a rainy day and my boy has ditched me to play with his guyfriend so I'm grouchy. But not so much now.

How true!
I remember driving home from work one day (a 72 mile commute) and I was incredibly unsatisfied with everything. Just then I looked out my windshield, beyond the road, and I saw the most beautiful sight ever... the sun setting beyond a mound of glistening snow, and many trees surrounding. It was then that I realized how beautiful this place we call home really is... and how often I used to take it for granted.
Thanks for the reminder! :)
