The part of me in Morocco

I must share with you the pictures my dear Sufi friend Salima sent me from Morocco. Now I understand even more why she is in no rush to get back here, though I continue to beg because I miss her. But her life there is Soooo magically beautiful. She runs small painting/creativity workshops...do take a look at the slideshow...the amazing colors of the interiors and the landscapes then the art that is coming through...so pure of spirit, full of an innocence, raw expression.:)My heart swells to see it all. I look forward to visiting one day..

wow, i gotta get me to Moroccan casbah one of these days. if i recall right i think there was an solar eclipse party around those parts at new year's 2000.

once upon a time, did you also recommend Heart of Sufi?

bee's mom has been getting increasingly into ecstatic dance practices (belly + flamenco + sufi). i wish you could've been there when grandma asked if she had joined a cult. bee's mom is departing for Turkey soon with an inter-faith group. sounds like it will be quite an action-packed trip for them, we vaguely wonder if she will be sold as an odalesque for a score of ungulates.
