The part of me in Morocco
I must share with you the pictures my dear Sufi friend Salima sent me from Morocco. Now I understand even more why she is in no rush to get back here, though I continue to beg because I miss her. But her life there is Soooo magically beautiful. She runs small painting/creativity workshops...do take a look at the slideshow...the amazing colors of the interiors and the landscapes then the art that is coming through...so pure of spirit, full of an innocence, raw expression.:)My heart swells to see it all. I look forward to visiting one day..

She's a sufi? My only experience with that is reading Idries Shah and some referenced in Arabian Days and Nights by Naguib Mahfouz. I remember a line that went something like, "He was saved with death by death."
This guy is led by an angel to escape prison (he's going to be executed) through a window. The guy climbs out the window, jumps, and falls to his death in a pit directly below. At least he didn't die an ignoble death by execution. Later, it is revealed to all that he was not guilty of the crimes for which he was imprisoned.
Anyway...maybe you could go to Morocco?
