I'm really happy to have work in this show. Instead of card invites we were sent a few 'I ♥ the Burbs' bright green bumper stickers with the info printed on back- really cute/funny/odd. OK, so I was planning to go and be present on the 15th as it said...though it seemed pretty long (12- 6or7?eep!)...but now I just got this email from the curator:

"My apologies for the group e-mail. The staff is busy preparing for the opening of “I Love the Burbs.” I hope that you received your invitation in the mail. I encourage everyone to attend the Curator’s Circle reception on Saturday, January 14 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. This is a private party for the Museum’s upper-category members. There will be live music, great food, and an open bar. All artists are also invited to attend a special dinner at our trustee’s house in Bedford immediately following the reception. Please let me know by Friday the 6th if you plan to attend Curator’s Circle or the trustee dinner (hopefully both!) so we can give an accurate count to our caterers.Thank you! -Ellen "

Eeep so now I guess I'm supposed to go on the 14th??...and this sounds...eh....very...formal..
ok I'm Nervous now..... *Probability calculations for making it to the open bar before talking to people are turning up bleak* gulp
