Off to Miami

things are moving way fast now...wish I had a week or so to just process and write. I'll have to write about the Boston Conference when I get back...because I'm running off to Miami for the art fairs!woohoo! It'll be me and Janey on the town, and a bunch of other artists I know are going... hopefully going to see all 7 (seven!!?!?geeeez!) of the fairs/events over the next 4 days. Despite all the hoopla and preparing I had myself a nice soup lunch at the magic bay today- awesome weather and just taking a moment to breathe and enjoy. NEEEED that.

Ok so this is the alternative event I'll be a part of down there:

That all sounds really exciting, good luck with it.

Boy, I so wish we could get you over to do a show in our artist run gallery in Bristol (http://sparror.cubecinema.com/here/index.html) but sadly we have absolutely no funding. However, if you can ever work out a way to get some funding to bring yourself and your work over we'd certainly offer you a show. We've had several American artists come over that way.

that'd be amazing. it'd be great to do....s'posin I could get a grant or something. Depends what the total cost of such a trip would be...there's a special opportunity grant here that's not so hard to get..but it's maximum $650.

hey, is it true resin is really risky to use because it can cause cancer?! Have you heard of GAC 800? It's a new medium I just started using, similar to resin, but i guess easier! It's awesomeeeee
i love art.
