Kanpai!!

Saturday.Working on artwork.
Priming, sanding, drilling, more priming out on the back deck. Goggles, dust mask, funny apron, hair in a bun. B working on his car out front with face mask and overalls.
We're both in 'project mode' and it's a really nice to be that way together.
Lunch break is a treat - we sit at the mini table with sushi snacks he brought home and Pearl Sake- "Kanpai!!" we toast. Holy moly I have NO tolerance for that stuff. One and half lil sake cups and whoooeee... So I'm taking a lil break and writing here and will return to the studio when my head clears a bit.
Not much time left before all these shows and SO much to do.
But today I'm able to be productive AND enjoy myself so that's good.
The cat-sized bunny that comes around let me get sooooo close. I talked to him (call him granpa-bunny) for a while. He didn't talk much back but he has these big liquid dark eyes and....*melts*. So cute to watch him up close eating grass.

nope, it's actually Pearl Sake (http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/momokawa-(peach-river)-pearl-sake/28662/954/)...
more like $11 a bottle. has a pearl color, coconut and tapioca flavors..
Momokawa also has Diamond, Sapphire and Ruby Sake...each different.We're going to try them out eventually. We've got Diamond in the fridge on Hold.;)

nice, actually around the corner of your favorite st marks resturant is a saki bar it's a hole in the basement but they had some nice saki.
