What's down Here I wonder....;)

Tinkered a bit an finally got B's old BMW 2002 working. That thing's been taking up sapce in MY garage studio (ok, MAYBE it's our garage) and it's driven me nuts. The turbo engine he lugged ridiculously from up-island with the help of our friend Jeffy was SOOOO incredibly rusty that it looked like seawreckage and took me unMentionable hours to sand down. I kept putting it off and only working on it here and there secretly because I was worried that even after all that, it'd be a dud. And he'd cry, really.
But it works!!
Anyway, won't he be surprised when he comes home.:)
I'm off to Real work now though. Burned another small hole in my uniform yesterday which I've covered with a funny hello kitty patch. I hope I get to use the arc-welder today...that stupid oxy-acetylene torch is possessed I tell you and I'm just not feeling safe with it. Anyway, there's something so soothing about making continual 'row-of-dime' welds. I get to a 'state', you know? And I feel good about the work.
Maybe dancing later tonight if I've got the energy. AmAzing spot we located not so far away. And it's finally warm enough to wear 'the outfit'. ha. watch out.

Is "Jeffy" the same one we know? How is he?

And you get bonus points for doing "Man's Work" by fixing a car engine. I'd be damned if I knew what to do!

you should have fixed my brother's car. His starter died... poor starter.

I wish I could learn welding then I could make really cool garden trelaces and arbors.

HAHA! I get it!
Your little cotton tail gave you away, ms. white bunny! And to think, I almost chased you all the way down the hole to eat shrink-ray muffins and drink enlarging juice :)

Happy burfday mr. Carroll!

Hahaha! This was fun. Actually it was wonderful inspiration. This was only about the third short story I have completed on that scale, and never in that genre before. But it would have been even more fun if I had been closer to the reality of my own life and just thrown in a few surreal things. Just that I had a very specific idea and wanted to run with it. I hope we can do it again next year and get more people inovled.

wow! what do you do for work? sounds fun.
A friend of mine has an arc-welder that he uses a lot. I'd love to learn someday.

:D
