I think Blogathon is a wonderful trailblazer in using the internet to help people discover their own power to make a positive difference in the world.
It is a model of Avalokitesvara, joining the fundraising efforts of 249 bloggers for charities around the globe. In that spirit, I decided to pledge my recent 10% donation (from a timely and most welcome art sale!) in a distribution to many of the participants causes, in hopes of supporting this energy and encouraging. It was so fun to look around within the campaigns and choose several. I wish I could keep donating and donating!!
