Devdas

Call me crazy, but I'm in LOVE with the Indian Bollywood film, Devdas. *sigh*. In love. Though I don't know the words, I'm singing the songs from it all day....and yes, doing my version of the dances in my studio.;)MMMMM-MMM-MMMMMMMMMMM... *twirls around with dramatic eye and flourish*

I SO want the soundtrack and the DVD. (this would encourage me to get a DVD player...just to be able to see and print stills!...I wouldn't know where to stop- It's all so BEAUTIFUL!! *sigh, swoon, sigh*

Recently finished a new page in the Book of Hope Series: Page 6- 'Creating Tomorrows'. It will be shown at the gallery in East Hampton this weekend.see website for details.
Prayers hammered in nail-code....for strength,growth, for friends, family, world, etc. How I miss the ritual whenever I stop for too long. After my next show I think I must undertake another large prayers piece. To be called (I think) 'Festival of Devotion' and done in the colors I associate with India and puja.
