avad | Leaves and windows

Carving wood in my basement studio...covered in sawdust...listening to Amon Tobin. My moods have been much better. Every once in a while I take a break and dust myself off, take off my goggles and peer around. The light is grey and wet. I stare at the windows and find even the cobwebs interesting. I get my camera and lose myself in details..time folds...and once again I feel odd, awake and dreaming. My love calls me up for a dinner he made.(!):) My eyes are still 'on'...everything sparkles..the moisture on my glass...the beads of oil in the salad dressing...the colors of plate and metal shining...the angles and placement perfect, I am cropping perfect compositions everywhere I gaze..it is all just too much.
These are bits from the windows downstairs....there are paintings everywhere I look..

*smile* i was carving wood today two. i love it. do u use a dremal? i have a dremal and have used it on one sculpture but rarely do now, i have these amazing hand tools that are so much more fun and actually go just as fast or even faster then the dremel......it is so much fun. i've gotten back into it now that i dont have school.

:) yep, I've been using a dremel lately. I know I should try hand tools one day...but I do like the dremel and am just learning to use different bits...
Carving is just one small part of the piece...I must admit I'm a little impatient to get it to the next stage.
one day I will try the handtools. I know a lot of people swear by them.:)
