Density Nailweave

Finally feel my newest nailweave piece is finished. I kept going back and making it denser....happy with it now. Actually can't wait to start another...5 foot one. Love the process so much.(after my show though).

holyyay you're on here now too??? oh this is gooood, very gooood. :)

my show will open on December 14th 6-8 pm at MorganLehman Gallery (http://www.morganlehmangallery.com) in Chelsea. It would be Lovely if you could come see! It'll be up until Jan27. I'm working hard on getting everything together for it now. have to run and check on my resin now...will return and poke about your journal!

Great! I've put the date in my calander (which has suddenly opened up with D's sudden departure.)
I'll be back from London the week before! Perhaps I'll be able to snag a friend or two to come along! Yeah! Looking forward to it!

ps, actually this is a bit more of an old but continual direction....I've been doing the nailweaves for a long time....way before the resin....and continuing though alongside whatever else I do. It's a meditation...ritual for me...and I guess it's my version of knitting..and why I love weaves so much!;)

My dear... I do remember your nail weaves... I recall discussing on ehanging in a gallery out East there with Billy Joel in fact. He was fascinated by it...
...I can't believe just how many years ago that was. Sheesh!
