Surprise Visitor: Booberry Paradiso

We somehow find ourselves caring for a lost parakeet that followed B around in a parking lot, hungry, friendly. Came home with us. Is this the Bluebird of Happiness come to visit? We've put up posters everywhere to alert the owner... He's so sweet and unafraid, doesn't mind being held! And look how amazing- he looks like part of my art studio toys come to life! :) I've named him Booberry Paradiso...well, because.

long story...I'll try to shorten...:
a woman called us saying she just lost a blue parakeet...so we thought we had found the owner...but she had only JUST lost it 2 days before...and we'd had Booberry goin on 2 weeks at that point. Thing is, she had another parakeet that was all depressed now with his friend gone...so we decided to see whether Booberry and this one would get along (they like to be in pairs at least, if not flocks). So Booberry now lives at a very interesting place called the Ark Project with this other parakeet. I can visit when I want....there are horses and sheep and neat artist buildings. I miss Boo but think it's for the best. I have a lil blue parakeet ring now as a memento, I think of him often...
