In other news, I recently got my check from MorganLehmanGallery (from art sales at the Affordable Art Fair) and was finally able to direct some 10% donations to these projects I'd been researching:

* The Omidyar Network Matching Fund for Disaster Relief through Global Giving (projects #2 and #8 for earthquake relief in Pakistan and India)
*The Webbed Empowerment Center Fund- Uganda (part of the ongoing work in Uganda by the very inspiring Christina Jordan) and
*The Dolma Community Soup Kitchen in Mongolia brought to my attention by Julie Caldwell. Keep watering seeds, let hope grow.
